Ranking Our Digital Art Collections - “CARNAGE”, “summere”, “WC24”, “VALENHEARTS”, “pure souls”

Since our founding in 2022, we have released five digital art collections that each represent a distinct chapter in our creative journey. With the launch of our fifth collection, we mark a milestone worth reflecting on. To honor this moment, we will revisit all five collections and rank them from 1 to 5 across clear, objective dimensions that capture both artistic achievement and cultural resonance.

1) Artistic Excellence: Technical execution, originality and coherence of the artworks.

2) Visibility & Reach: Effectiveness of promotion, marketing campaigns, and distribution channels.

3) Cultural & Emotional Resonance: Did the artworks provoke people or move them in any way? Did the collection contribute to broader discussions in the community? Did it change how people saw Asycd and our work?

Let’s get started.

5. WC2 (WINTER COLLECTION 2024)

This was a compilation-style collection released in November 2024 featuring several artworks created using the original version of TEV, TEV1.

There was no particular theme to the collection which naturally minimized the impact it could have. With that said, the quality of the artworks was 4.5/5 in our opinion. Diverse, original and it was a great showcase of what our technology could do but also our style.

A notable takeaway from the collection was the popularity of CHROMIUM STORM V2 which we had the opportunity to showcase via the EIDOS gallery exhibition earlier this year.

4. VALENHEARTS (FEBRUARY 2024)

“VALENHEARTS” was a collaboration between Airhead Studios and GraphicsbyTP (Now goes by VisualsbyTP) and it featured several heartfelt, valentines-themed artworks.

The designs are memorable and punchy. The overly-childlike and cartoonish imagery is a trademark in our style. Our favourite piece from the collection is “MONOGAMOUS” and it is arguably one of our best ever released.

It fell short on impact on viewers and the lack of significance to our wider communities but still it is a hugely significant collection in our catalogue.

3. pure souls (march 2023)

Our first digital art collection, “pure souls”, released in March 2023 dedicated to being as authentic as possible. This was before all the glamour of our current website and tools like TEV2 or TEV1. This was raw prompt engineering at its finest.

The artwork quality and taste lacked the maturity of our later works, reach and impact suffered as a result but the impact on us is unquantifiable. It was after this collection that we learned what was really important to us and what we should spend our time doing.

Designs like “blank mind” are synonymous with Asycd even in late 2025 and for that reason it ranks 3rd.

2. summere (July 2025)

“summere” was our summer-themed collection primarily designed by our founder, Temi Abbass. It featured artworks such as “ive seen it all” and “get some help” which we also managed to showcase at the Fringe Arts Festival in Bath in May 2025.

When it comes to artistic excellence and quality, this collection ranks first out of all our collections and I don’t think it is even close. The themes and narratives portrayed or depicted in the collection are foundational pillars of what Asycd stands for and believes in which makes sense because our founder created them himself. From the articles to the artworks, it is a well polished body of work that is also our most viewed collection to date.

1. CARNAGE + MORE CARNAGE (OCTOBER 2023 + NOVEMBER 2025)

“CARNAGE” released in October 2023 and it was made in spite of the restrictions on prompt creativity especially when it came to generating art. Tools like DALL-E 2 stifled users who were looking to express themselves more than generic pixel art designs could allow for. As a result, we decide to stage a rebellion in the form of a digital art collection which tested boundaries and ultimately set the scene for the “MORE CARNAGE” collection, released in November 2025.

“MORE CARNAGE” benefits in this ranking system because the sheer volume of content contained within the series. The impact and cultural resonance is a tier above the rest of our collections especially when you consider the meaning behind the collection. It brought together the art community and invited non-artists to think about these issues around concepts like creative freedom and censorship more deeply.
