1. Recent Work
It’s been a relatively quiet time for Asycd, not as much articles and even art as we direct our focus on the upcoming summer digital art collection and the release of TEV2.
There were some pretty interesting highlights with that said.
CHROMIUM STORM V2 SHOWCASE — March 2025
We had the opportunity to display our “CHROMIUM STORM V2" metal canvas at SPIRA9’s “EIDOS Art Exhibition.
Recent Art — Unreleased
There were several pieces we created that we did not release.
Recent Research
Timestamped Embeddings for Time-Relevant RAG — Examined the technique of incorporating timestamps into data before chunking and inputting it into a vector database.
Exploring Inference-Only GPU Compute Solutions — Evaluated strategies to minimize compute expenses by leveraging Inference-only GPU cloud providers instead of hourly GPU rentals.
AI with Memory — Investigated methods for establishing permanent databases of conversation history for Asyra AI and developing effective human-inspired retrieval processes.
2. “summere”
“summere” is the name of our much-anticipated fifth digital art collection, serving as a pivotal moment in Asycd’s journey.
This collection is more than just a showcase of art; it symbolizes an exciting opportunity to reconnect with our core message and purpose, which we believe has subtly shifted over time.
What makes “summere” truly unique is its deeply personal nature. Our founder, Temi Abbass, has poured his own experiences and insights into the creations, moving away from the collective style that characterized previous collections.
This introspective body of work delves into themes of insecurity, the motivation behind Asycd’s research and art, and societal ideologies, inviting viewers to engage with the art on a profoundly personal level.
“summere” is not just a collection; it’s a heartfelt exploration of the human experience, promising to resonate deeply with all who encounter it.
3. TEV2
We have immersed ourselves in an exhilarating journey, dedicating our time and creative energy to elevate TEV2 into an extraordinarily powerful tool for artists and creators.
This upgraded version will unveil a remarkable suite of features that will redefine the landscape of digital artistry. Imagine sophisticated custom-built NLP models, meticulously designed to deepen theme interpretation and unlock new creative realms.
Users will be empowered with access to real-time art data, sourced from a diverse array of online platforms, serving as an endless fountain of inspiration. Our cutting-edge data scrapers work tirelessly and independently, scouring the internet for artistic influences that will enrich our database and spark vibrant creativity.
With an expanded palette of artistic styles, features, and collaborations, TEV2 is not just a tool; it’s a revolutionary gateway to creativity. The research and innovations fuelling its development will not only enhance TEV2 but will also lay the groundwork for future tools — leading us into exciting territories of artistic expression and exploration.
4. What’s Next?
We are not really thinking beyond the summer but there were a few projects that were side lined due to the TEV2 and “summere” that will rise in priority after which.
Open Source Image Prompt Database
We have always wanted to give back to the space that has given us so much. That being the AI-art space of course.
We intend to use the research from the TEV2 development to create an open-source database of AI-art prompts that digital artists and enthusiasts can use to create their own art.
Thematic Knowledge Databases
The concept of an open-source knowledge database is closely tied to open-source prompt databases. We intend to thoroughly showcase how TEV2 achieves its human-like exploration of themes.
By leveraging graph databases, we aim to provide NLP researchers with access to valuable collections of conceptually related ideas.
What does this mean? Instead of depending on conventional resources like WordNet or WikiNet for NLP tasks that necessitate conceptually relevant synonyms, researchers will have the opportunity to utilize our knowledge database, which offers both semantically and thematically linked concepts.
As we conclude this article, remember that no matter the challenges you face, there’s always something you can do. This belief is at the heart of Asycd, reflecting our commitment to exploration, creativity, and growth. Every small step you take contributes to your progress. Embrace your journey and inspire others. Together, let’s push boundaries and make a lasting impact. Thank you for being part of our community and believing in the transformative power of art and innovation.
